Cafe Assistant Manager

Worked at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre from January 1, 2021 to January 30, 2022.

Core Duties includes but not limited to;

• Assisting and supporting the manager with planning duties, menus, rotas, training and etc.
• Preparing sandwiches and cooking soups
• Ordering and obtaining supplies
• Quality control checks, hygiene, and health and safety
• Provided staff induction and training of new staff
• Manage customer's exectations and assist in dealing and resolving all queries
• Coordinating work force
• Liasing with HR department for recruitment purposes
• Setting as example for the team members of commitment, teamwork and work ethic

Kadampa Volunteer

Worked as a volunteer at Kadampa Meditation Centre from September 17, 2019 to December 31, 2020

My volunteering journey are as follows;

Acting as a kitchen manager

After the kitchen manager left, I was acting as the kitchen manager for six months until the new kitchen manager arrived. My duties includes;

• Planning and creating daily menu for the whole month

Planning and creating rotas making sure there are enough people on the shift

• Preparing and ordering all the ingredients within the budget
• Supervising the chefs making sure that they are okay and they have everything that they need
• Supervising and coordinating staff members and provide training if neccessary
• Maintaining clean working environments and making sure all the staff are following the health and safety guidelines
• Organising especial events such as Christmas parties and food for thought

Kitchen assistant

These are my duties as a kitchen assistant for six months in Kadampa but not limited to;

• Assisting chefs in food preparation
• Cleaning and sanitising the kitchen area
• Pot washing
• Managing inventories, stock counting and receiving deliveries
• Doing whatever my manager asks me to do

Caster

As a caster in Arts Studio, my duties includes;

• Assisting the team to prepare moulds
• Assisting in making statues
• Cleaning the working area
• Liasing with other departments for timelines and dealines
• Sanding and painting

Sales Representative

Working with agencies as a sales representative in different brands from April 2014 to June 2019. My duties includes;

• Delivering presetations for persuading customers to buy our products and services
• Processing sales transactions
• Being on top of the company's products and services to make suitable recommendations to customers
• Resolving customer complaints and concerns
• Being on top with my personal training and development to keep myself up to date with indurty's trend

Customer Service Assistant

Worked at Tesco Superstore in Sheffield from October 2010 to June 2014. My duties includes the following;

• Doing whatever the manager asks me to do
• Restocking, making sure products are available at all times
• Assisting customers' needs and always put them first
• Making sure my department is clean and tidy at all times
• Reporting to managers any out of stocks, incidents, etc.
